Description

ISC cron, replacement for Vixie cron.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install isc-cron

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/sysutils/isc-cron && make install clean

Dependencies

No port depends on this one.

Configuration

No options to configure.

none

Message after installing

Please add

	cron_program="/usr/local/sbin/cron"

to your /etc/rc.conf to enable the ISC cron instead of the base
Vixie cron.

Please use /usr/local/bin/crontab to edit the users crontab.

The isc-cron port currently does not have a maintainer. As a result, it is
more likely to have unresolved issues, not be up-to-date, or even be removed in
