Description

rsyncbackup is a Perl script that reads configuration files for sources and destinations. It then feeds the rsync tool with the appropriate parameters.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install rsyncbackup

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/sysutils/rsyncbackup && make install clean

Configuration

No options to configure.

Message after installing

rsyncbackup is now installed on your system.

- rsyncbackup installed into /usr/local/bin/rsyncbackup

- Configuration files:
  These files are installed into /usr/local/etc/rsyncbackup,
  and are usually copyied to rsyncbackup-users ~/backup/*.conf

  NOTE: /usr/local/etc/rsyncbackup is deleted upon deletion

- HTML documentation:
  The HTML documentation has been installed into
  /usr/local/share/doc/rsyncbackup
