Description

bitedit is a simple ncurses program for editing a file. It allows you to directly edit of the individual bits of a binary file in a graphical fashion. It is useful for editing all sorts of binary files.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install editors/bitedit
pkg install bitedit

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/editors/bitedit/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	bitedit>0:editors/bitedit
