Description
Jonathan's Own Version of Emacs (Jove) is a venerable, fast, small Emacs clone that was originally written for 2.8BSD on PDP-11. Many people have been using and contributing to it since 1986.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install editors/jove
pkg install joveFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/editors/jove/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= jove>0:editors/jovePackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
