Description

Gershwin Components is a collection of applications and preference panes for the Gershwin desktop environment on FreeBSD.

Includes utilities for display, audio, network, keyboard, and other system administration tasks, as well as desktop environment components like the login window, menu system, and global shortcuts.

Message after installing

To enable the Gershwin directory services helper daemon, add the following
to /etc/rc.conf:

    dshelper_enable="YES"

To enable the Gershwin graphical login window, add the following
to /etc/rc.conf:

    loginwindow_enable="YES"

Then start the services with:

    service dshelper start
    service loginwindow start
