Description

kmscube is a little demonstration program for how to drive bare metal graphics without a compositor like X11, Wayland or similar, using DRM/KMS (kernel mode setting), GBM (graphics buffer manager) and EGL for rendering content using OpenGL or OpenGL ES.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install graphics/kmscube
pkg install kmscube

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/graphics/kmscube/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	kmscube>0:graphics/kmscube
