Description
pdfminer.six is a community-maintained Python PDF parser and analyzer. It extracts text, images, and metadata from PDF files and provides utilities for PDF content analysis and layout-aware text extraction. It is a fork of the original pdfminer with Python 3 support.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install graphics/py-pdfminer-six
pkg install py312-pdfminer-sixFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/graphics/py-pdfminer-six/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
