Description

A small tool to recompress JPEG, PNG, and GIF images. repng2jpeg is a single binary, which makes it readily available, and simple for use in scripts, and other utilities. Some of the possibilities include

  • mass recompression of entire directory/ies
  • scripted via Perl, as an online utility
  • your-creative-usage-here...

Install

Binary package:

pkg install repng2jpeg

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/graphics/repng2jpeg/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	repng2jpeg>0:graphics/repng2jpeg
