Description

WordPress is a state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability.

More simply, Wordpress is what you use when you want to work with your blogging software, not fight it.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install japanese/wordpress
pkg install ja-wordpress-ja

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/japanese/wordpress/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	ja-wordpress-ja>0:japanese/wordpress

Message after installing

Before the first use of WordPress, copy wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php
in /usr/local/www/wordpress and modify it to fit your MySQL.
Maybe you need 'mysqladmin create wordpress' first.

If you are upgrading, please run http://your.site/wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade.php
to upgrade WordPress.
