Description

Originally part of ReadStat, librdata is a small C library for reading and writing R data frames.

Features:

  • Read both RData and RDS formats
  • Read compressed files (requires bzip2, zlib, and lzma)
  • Write factors, timestamps, logical vectors, and more

Install

Binary package:

pkg install librdata

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/math/librdata/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	librdata>0:math/librdata
LIB_DEPENDS=	librdata.so:math/librdata
