Description

Developed by Jack Dongarra, Jim Bunch, Cleve Moler and Pete Stewart. 1 Feb 84 Used as part of Matlab, and often used to benchmark machines. Otherwise it is a very good linear algebra package.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install math/linpack
pkg install linpack

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/math/linpack/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	linpack>0:math/linpack
LIB_DEPENDS=	liblinpack.so:math/linpack
