PEP517_INSTALL_CMD passed --destdir ${STAGEDIR} --prefix ${PREFIX}, but do-install runs with PREFIX already stage-prefixed, so the wheel unpacked into a doubled path and the RECORD lookup that follows failed: FileNotFoundError: .../fake-inst-amd64/usr/local/lib/python3.12/site-packages/ sagemaker_schema_inference_artifacts-0.0.5*.dist-info/RECORD Use --destdir ${FAKE_DESTDIR} --prefix ${TRUE_PREFIX}, matching the default PEP517_INSTALL_CMD in Mk/extensions/python.mk.
