Description

Minizip was originally developed in 1998. It was first included in the zlib distribution as an additional code contribution starting in zlib 1.1.2. Since that time, it has been continually improved upon and contributed to by many people.

  • Creating and extracting zip archives.
  • Adding and removing entries from zip archives.
  • Read and write raw zip entry data.
  • Reading and writing zip archives from memory.
  • Zlib, BZIP2, LZMA, and ZSTD compression methods.
  • Password protection through Traditional PKWARE and WinZIP AES encryption.
  • Buffered streaming for improved I/O performance.

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

mport install minizip-ng

From mports:

cd /usr/mports/archivers/minizip-ng && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	minizip-ng>0:archivers/minizip-ng
LIB_DEPENDS=	libminizip-ng.so:archivers/minizip-ng

Dependency graph

Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right; at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.

22173208f1 Lucas Holt */*: add CPE identifiers from the matching FreeBSD ports
mport audit matches installed packages against sec.midnightbsd.org by CPE, so a port without one is invisible to it regardless of how vulnerable it is. These 126 ports had no CPE while the corresponding FreeBSD port did, so the vendor and product were copied from there rather than guessed. Sampled against the audit API to confirm the identifiers resolve, e.g. cad/gtkwave tonybybell:gtkwave 82 CVEs archivers/libunrar rarlab:unrar 12 audio/espeak-ng espeak-ng:espeak-ng 5 archivers/minizip-ng zlib-ng:minizip-ng 3 audio/faust grame:faust 3 cad/admesh admesh_project:admesh 3 Three ports were deliberately skipped: archivers/p5-Archive-Tar, …
