Description

TiMidity++ is a MIDI player without external MIDI instruments. This can also convert MIDI files to various formatted audio files (ex. wav, au, etc..). In addition to this port, "Gravis Ultra Sound" compatible patch files (or SF2 format SoundFont) are required to play files.

Formerly, the original version of this program was written by Tuuka Toivonen(until version 0.2i). Now, Masanao Izumo and many hackers are developing "TiMidity++".

Install

Binary package:

mport install timidity++

From mports:

cd /usr/mports/audio/timidity++ && make install clean

22173208f1 Lucas Holt */*: add CPE identifiers from the matching FreeBSD ports
mport audit matches installed packages against sec.midnightbsd.org by CPE, so a port without one is invisible to it regardless of how vulnerable it is. These 126 ports had no CPE while the corresponding FreeBSD port did, so the vendor and product were copied from there rather than guessed.
