Description

Kicad is an open source (GPL) software for the creation of electronic schematic diagrams and printed circuit board artwork.

Designed and written by Jean-Pierre Charras, a researcher at LIS (Laboratoire des Images et des Signaux) and a teacher in IUT de Saint Martin d'Heres (France), in the field of electrical engineering and image processing.

Kicad is a set of four softwares and a project manager:

\* Eeschema: Schematic entry.
\* Pcbnew: Board editor.
\* Gerbview: GERBER viewer (photoplotter documents).
\* Cvpcb: footprint selector for components used in the circuit design.
\* Kicad: project manager.

e13f5a8e0a Lucas Holt cad/opencascade: update to 8.0.1; cad/freecad: update to 1.1.3 (#891)
Closes #862. Closes #856. Updates OpenCASCADE 7.8.1 → 8.0.1 and FreeCAD 1.1.1 → 1.1.3 together, as the issue lays out: FreeCAD's patch set is dictated by the OCCT version. **Depends on #890** (dependency-chain build fixes). This branch is based on that one, so it shows both commits until #890 merges. ### cad/opencascade - Based on FreeBSD's 8.0.1 port, adapted to mports. OCCT 8 restructured its source tree, so FreeBSD's 8 patches replace our 12. Our four extra patches are obsolete (upstream absorbed the IVtkDraw undefs and the FreeBSD timezone fix; the custom.sh fix is in the CMakeLists patch). - Adds `find_package(Freetype)` before the early VTK include; VTK 9.2's exported targets reference `Freetype::Freetype`. - Depends on multimedia/ffmpeg (8.x) instead of ffmpeg4: OCCT linked …
22173208f1 Lucas Holt */*: add CPE identifiers from the matching FreeBSD ports
mport audit matches installed packages against sec.midnightbsd.org by CPE, so a port without one is invisible to it regardless of how vulnerable it is. These 126 ports had no CPE while the corresponding FreeBSD port did, so the vendor and product were copied from there rather than guessed. Sampled against the audit API to confirm the identifiers resolve, e.g. cad/gtkwave tonybybell:gtkwave 82 CVEs archivers/libunrar rarlab:unrar 12 audio/espeak-ng espeak-ng:espeak-ng 5 archivers/minizip-ng zlib-ng:minizip-ng 3 audio/faust grame:faust 3 cad/admesh admesh_project:admesh 3 Three ports were deliberately skipped: archivers/p5-Archive-Tar, …
