Description

Active Record connects classes to relational database tables to establish an almost zero-configuration persistence layer for applications. The library provides a base class that, when subclassed, sets up a mapping between the new class and an existing table in the database. In the context of an application, these classes are commonly referred to as models. Models can also be connected to other models; this is done by defining associations.

Active Record relies heavily on naming in that it uses class and association names to establish mappings between respective database tables and foreign key columns. Although these mappings can be defined explicitly, it's recommended to follow naming conventions, especially when getting started with the library.

292d18cbbe Lucas Holt Rails 8.0 gems: update to 8.0.5.1 (#1604)
Updates the Rails 8.0 gem ports from 8.0.5 to 8.0.5.1: - devel/rubygem-activesupport80 - databases/rubygem-activemodel80 - databases/rubygem-activerecord80 (PORTREVISION removed) - devel/rubygem-activejob80 - devel/rubygem-actionview80 - www/rubygem-actionpack80 - www/rubygem-actioncable80 - www/rubygem-railties80 These are in one PR because the gems pin each other to exact versions. For example, actionpack 8.0.5.1 requires `actionview = 8.0.5.1` and `activesupport = 8.0.5.1`. `net/rubygem-activestorage80` was already at 8.0.5.1 and pins its Rails dependencies to `=${PORTVERSION}`, so until this lands it can't be installed. ## Why 8.0.5.1 is a security release. It fixes CVE-2026-66066 / GHSA-xr9x-r78c-5hrm (critical), an arbitrary file read and possible RCE …
22173208f1 Lucas Holt */*: add CPE identifiers from the matching FreeBSD ports
mport audit matches installed packages against sec.midnightbsd.org by CPE, so a port without one is invisible to it regardless of how vulnerable it is. These 126 ports had no CPE while the corresponding FreeBSD port did, so the vendor and product were copied from there rather than guessed. Sampled against the audit API to confirm the identifiers resolve, e.g. cad/gtkwave tonybybell:gtkwave 82 CVEs archivers/libunrar rarlab:unrar 12 audio/espeak-ng espeak-ng:espeak-ng 5 archivers/minizip-ng zlib-ng:minizip-ng 3 audio/faust grame:faust 3 cad/admesh admesh_project:admesh 3 Three ports were deliberately skipped: archivers/p5-Archive-Tar, …
