Description

The Storable package brings you persistency for your perl data structures containing SCALAR, ARRAY, HASH or REF objects, i.e. anything that can be conveniently stored to disk and retrieved at a later time.

It can be used in the regular procedural way by calling store with a reference to the object to store, and providing a file name. The routine returns undef for I/O problems or other internal error, a true value otherwise. Serious errors are propagated as a die exception.

To retrieve data stored to disk, you use retrieve with a file name, and the objects stored into that file are recreated into memory for you, and a reference to the root object is returned. In case an I/O error occurred while reading, undef is returned instead. Other serious errors are propagated via die.

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 3.25, as upstream numbers it.

22173208f1 Lucas Holt */*: add CPE identifiers from the matching FreeBSD ports
mport audit matches installed packages against sec.midnightbsd.org by CPE, so a port without one is invisible to it regardless of how vulnerable it is. These 126 ports had no CPE while the corresponding FreeBSD port did, so the vendor and product were copied from there rather than guessed. Sampled against the audit API to confirm the identifiers resolve, e.g. cad/gtkwave tonybybell:gtkwave 82 CVEs archivers/libunrar rarlab:unrar 12 audio/espeak-ng espeak-ng:espeak-ng 5 archivers/minizip-ng zlib-ng:minizip-ng 3 audio/faust grame:faust 3 cad/admesh admesh_project:admesh 3 Three ports were deliberately skipped: archivers/p5-Archive-Tar, …
