Version history 1

  1. 6.0.0 fef9d7e4f9

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

mport install ${PYTHON_PKGNAMEPREFIX}watchdog

From mports:

cd /usr/mports/devel/py-watchdog && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	${PYTHON_PKGNAMEPREFIX}watchdog>0:devel/py-watchdog

Dependency graph

Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right; at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.

fef9d7e4f9 Lucas Holt devel/py-watchdog: update to 6.0.0 (#1984)
## Summary - Update devel/py-watchdog 4.0.2 -> 6.0.0 (same version as FreeBSD). - New patch `files/patch-src_watchdog_utils_platform.py`: add `midnightbsd` to watchdog's BSD platform detection. `sys.platform` is `midnightbsd4`, which upstream treated as an unknown platform, so `watchdog.observers.Observer` fell back to the polling observer. It now picks `KqueueObserver`, as on FreeBSD. - Regenerated the existing libinotify patch for the new line numbers and removed a trailing space in the Makefile (portlint). Needed by the new devel/eric7 port, which requires watchdog >= 5.0.0 (it imports `EVENT_TYPE_CLOSED_NO_WRITE`, which 4.x does not have). Dependents (`py-headroom-ai`, `py-pytest-watcher`, `py-mkdocs`, `py-werkzeug`) all require `watchdog>=2.0`/`>=4.0`, so they accept 6.0.0. …
