Description

This gem is a Ruby binding for the libvips image processing library.

Programs that use ruby-vips don't manipulate images directly, instead they create pipelines of image processing operations building on a source image. When the end of the pipe is connected to a destination, the whole pipeline executes at once, streaming the image in parallel from source to destination a section at a time. Because ruby-vips is parallel, it's quick, and because it doesn't need to keep entire images in memory, it's light.

8bf1b35878 Lucas Holt graphics/rubygem-ruby-vips: update to 2.3.0 (#1168)
Updates ruby-vips to 2.3.0 and explicitly resets PORTREVISION to 0. The upstream gemspec remains MIT and retains only ffi (~> 1.12) and logger runtime dependencies. MidnightBSD x11/nox11 flavors remain because each resolves against the matching graphics/vips flavor. Validation (with -DNO_DEPENDS; no host packages installed): - x11: bmake patch build fake package test check-license - nox11: bmake FLAVOR=nox11 patch build fake package test check-license - git diff --check `bmake test` has no port-defined test runner. Runtime require testing was not possible because neither libvips nor rubygem-ffi is installed on the host. portlint -C reports only the expected explicit PORTREVISION=0/FLAVORS ordering warnings plus generated work/package artifacts. ## Summary by Sourcery …
