Description

Video production tools for editing footage, compositing motion graphics, preparing still images and audio, transcoding media, and inspecting and previewing the results.

The default suite combines FilmCraft, EffectCraft, PhotoCraft, SoundCraft, FFmpeg, MediaInfo, and mpv. Audacity, Kdenlive, and VectorCraft are optional. Craft applications can be deselected individually.

Each application retains its own license and distribution terms. The FilmCraft and EffectCraft recipes apply ArtCraft brand restrictions that prohibit mirroring or selling their packages, so these dependencies require local source builds. This meta port bundles no application code or assets.

Install

Binary package:

mport install video-editing

From mports:

Add multimedia/video-editing as an amd64 meta port for a video production workflow. The default dependencies are FFmpeg, FilmCraft, EffectCraft, PhotoCraft, SoundCraft, MediaInfo, and mpv. Each Craft dependency can be disabled individually; Audacity, Kdenlive, and VectorCraft are optional additions disabled by default. Use the metaport extension and package-version dependency tuples, and register the port in the multimedia category. The meta port bundles no application code or assets; its BSD 2-Clause license covers the recipe. Dependencies retain their individual terms. FilmCraft and EffectCraft recipes apply ArtCraft brand restrictions prohibiting package mirroring or sale, so those applications require local source builds. …
