Description
Kibana provides a browser based analytics and search interface for Elasticsearch, including visualizations and dashboards. This port packages the Elastic License 2.0 distribution.
Use Kibana 8.x with the matching Elasticsearch 8.x release.

Lucas Holt | textproc/kibana8: update to 8.19.23 (#1864) ## Summary
- Update `textproc/kibana8` from 8.11.3 to 8.19.23.
- Require `node24>=24.21.0`, so it **depends on #1863**.
- Change `LICENSE` from Apache-2.0 to Elastic-2.0, matching the upstream
binary distribution. The license identifier was registered in #1787.
- Remove the obsolete native build (node-gyp/re2) and the Linux
payloads, keep the current launcher behavior, and fix process matching
in the rc script.
- Reporting and screenshotting are disabled because Chromium is
unavailable.
- Add `files/port-tests.cjs` (the test target), `README.MidnightBSD`, an
updated pkg-message, and an `UPDATING` entry with upgrade steps
(Elasticsearch 8.19.23 first, snapshot before saved-object migration).
The commit dates from 2026-10-15 and was rebased onto current master
without conflicts.
