Description
Action Cable seamlessly integrates WebSockets with the rest of your Rails application. It allows for real-time features to be written in Ruby in the same style and form as the rest of your Rails application, while still being performant and scalable. It's a full-stack offering that provides both a client-side JavaScript framework and a server-side Ruby framework. You have access to your full domain model written with Active Record or your ORM of choice.

Lucas Holt | Rails 7.2 gems: update to 7.2.3.2 (#1605) Updates the Rails 7.2 gem ports from 7.2.3.1 to 7.2.3.2:
- devel/rubygem-activesupport72
- databases/rubygem-activemodel72
- databases/rubygem-activerecord72 (PORTREVISION removed)
- devel/rubygem-activejob72
- devel/rubygem-actionview72
- www/rubygem-actionpack72
- www/rubygem-actioncable72
- www/rubygem-railties72
- net/rubygem-activestorage72
These are in one PR because the gems pin each other to exact versions.
## Why
7.2.3.2 is a security release. It fixes CVE-2026-66066 /
GHSA-xr9x-r78c-5hrm (critical), an arbitrary file read and possible RCE
in Active Storage variant processing. Affected versions are
activestorage < 7.2.3.2.
Each gem's runtime dependencies and license (MIT) are the same as in
7.2.3.1, so only PORTVERSION and distinfo change. There's also a

builds.\n\nValidation: clean package with NO_DEPENDS=yes; portlint -C
(warnings only); git diff --check.
## Summary by Sourcery
Expose ActionCable 7.2 runtime dependencies during builds so package
validation can resolve the required gems.
Enhancements:
- Make ActionCable 7.2 runtime gem dependencies available as build
dependencies for package validation.
Build:
- Update the ActionCable 7.2 port dependencies to support Magus fake-qa
package builds.

Lucas Holt | www/rubygem-actioncable72: update to 7.2.3.1 activesupport72, activemodel72 and activerecord72 are already at 7.2.3.1 and
their gemspecs pin the rest of the stack to the same version, so the 7.2.3
ports fail with "RubyGem dependency activesupport = 7.2.3.1 is not
satisfied".
