Description

mlogind is a desktop-independent graphical login manager for X11, derived from Login.app and SLiM.

It aims to be light and simple, although completely configurable through themes and an option file; is suitable for machines on which remote login functionalities are not needed.

Binary package:

Update to [mlogind 1.4.2](https://github.com/MidnightBSD/mlogind/releases/tag/v1.4.2), which includes MidnightBSD/mlogind#24 and #25. ## Upstream changes - Built-in UTF-8 user name and password entry. Keys go through Xlib's built-in input method (`@im=none`), and dead keys and compose sequences work. BackSpace removes whole characters, and the hidden password shows one `*` per character. The greeter uses the environment's UTF-8 `LC_CTYPE`, or `C.UTF-8`. - mlogind reports its real version. The shared library is now `libmlogind.so.1.4.2`. ## Port changes - `PORTVERSION` 1.4.2. `pkg-plist`: `lib/libmlogind.so.1.4.0` becomes `lib/libmlogind.so.1.4.2`. - **Removes the `UTF8` option and `files/extra-patch-utf8`.** The 2014 …

The port fetches from `github.com/MidnightBSD/mlogind` (`GH_ACCOUNT=midnightbsd`), but `WWW` still pointed to the old `http://github.com/laffer1/mlogind` URL. This changes it to `https://github.com/MidnightBSD/mlogind`, which returns HTTP 200. This is a metadata-only change, so `PORTREVISION` is not bumped. portlint shows the same 2 fatal errors and 5 warnings before and after this change: `PORTVERSION`/`DISTVERSIONPREFIX` ordering, `PORTREVISION=0`, dependency/`USES` ordering, and trailing whitespace in `pkg-descr`. They predate this PR and are left for the next version update, which should follow the pending session-lifecycle fixes in MidnightBSD/mlogind.
