Description

"Vifm is a ncurses based file manager with vi like keybindings. If you use vi, vifm gives you complete keyboard control over your files without having to learn a new set of commands."

Features:

  • two file list windows
  • bookmarks
  • user-defined association of file types/extensions with multiple applications per extension
  • visual mode for selecting files
  • user-defined commands

Install

Binary package:

pkg install vifm

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/misc/vifm/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	vifm>0:misc/vifm
