Description
XOSD displays text on your screen; sounds simple, right? The difference is that it is unmanaged and shaped, so it appears transparent. This gives the effect of an on-screen-display, just like on your TV/VCR, etc.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install xosdFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/misc/xosd/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= xosd>0:misc/xosd
LIB_DEPENDS= libxosd.so:misc/xosdPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
