Description

faro is a terminal (TUI) client for Signal, written in Rust and built for people who run everything over SSH inside tmux. It focuses on a polished, discoverable interface that never freezes, with an OpenCode-style command palette and btop-style colour and glyph graphics.

It uses presage for the Signal protocol and never reimplements it. Unofficial; not affiliated with Signal.

Version history 1

  1. 0.1.7 4f1c035e23

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install faro

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/net-im/faro/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	faro>0:net-im/faro

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
