Description
The Nagios Service Check Acceptor (NSCA) is used to send service check results to a central Nagios server. This consists of the "nsca" daemon which runs on the main Nagios server and accepts results and the "send_nsca" client which is used to send results to the server.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install nscaFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net-mgmt/nsca/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

Message after installing
This port includes only the server part of NSCA ("nsca").
If you need the "send_nsca" utility install the net-mgmt/nsca-client port.
The default configuration file is installed at:
/usr/local/etc/nagios/nsca.cfg-sample
