c-lightning is a lighweight, highly customizable and standard compliant implementation of the Lightning Network protocol.

Binary package:

lightningd
Message after installing
To configure lightningd system-wide and to start it at boot time:
Copy /usr/local/etc/lightningd-bitcoin.conf.sample
to - /usr/local/etc/lightningd-bitcoin.conf and edit according to your setup.
See "lightningd --help" for more information.
Add lightningd_enable="YES" to /usr/local/etc/rc.conf.d/lightningd.
See rc.conf(5) and /usr/local/etc/rc.d/lightningd for more information.
If you run lightningd inside a jail, the jail must have allow.mlock
enabled. lightning_hsmd locks hsm_secret into RAM to keep the private key
out of swap; mlock(2) is denied in a jail without allow.mlock, and hsmd
aborts with a bare "FATAL SIGNAL 6" and no diagnostic.
For a jail managed by jail.conf(5), add to the jail's section:
allow.mlock = 1;
Then restart the jail and confirm with "jls -nj <jailname>", which should
list allow.mlock rather than allow.nomlock.
