Description
This is the FreeBSD port of the OpenBSD dhcpd.
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a standardized network protocol used on Internet Protocol (IP) networks for dynamically distributing network configuration parameters, such as IP addresses for interfaces and services.
Install
Binary package:
pkg install dhcpdFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/dhcpd/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= dhcpd>0:net/dhcpdPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
