Description

This FreeBSD kernel module implements a simple point-to-point IP link between a vnet jail and its host, or between two vnet jails - like if_epair(4), but without the complexity and overhead of emulating Ethernet.

Status: Under active development. It has not yet seen wide testing. Try it on a test machine first.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install if_pair-kmod

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/net/if_pair-kmod/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	if_pair-kmod>0:net/if_pair-kmod
