Description
Kafka is used for building real-time data pipelines and streaming apps. It is horizontally scalable, fault-tolerant, wicked fast, and runs in production in thousands of companies.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install net/kafka
pkg install kafkaFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/kafka/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= kafka>0:net/kafkaPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
