Description
libdnet provides a simplified, portable interface to several low-level networking routines, including network address manipulation, kernel arp(4) cache and route(4) table lookup and manipulation, network firewalling, network interface lookup and manipulation, and raw IP packet and Ethernet frame transmission. It is intended to complement the functionality provided by pcap(3).
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install net/libdnet
pkg install libdnetFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/libdnet/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= libdnet>0:net/libdnet
LIB_DEPENDS= libdnet.so:net/libdnetPackages
