Description

Libwebsockets is a lightweight pure C library built to use minimal CPU and memory resources, and provide fast throughput in both directions as client or server.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install libwebsockets

From the ports tree:

ba7e53fef1 Jimmy Olgeni net/libwebsockets: Package all enabled event loop plugins
pkg-plist listed only lib/libwebsockets-evlib_uv.so, so with any event loop option other than LIBUV enabled the corresponding plugin was staged but silently dropped from the package. The installed CMake export still referenced it, breaking every consumer that calls find_package(): CMake Error at LibwebsocketsTargets.cmake:106 (message): The imported target "websockets-evlib_ev" references the file "/usr/local/lib/libwebsockets-evlib_ev.so" but this file does not exist. Gate the plugin entries on their options instead. OPTIONS_SUB was already set. Reviewed by: bofh Differential Revision: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D59117
