Description
The IO::Socket::Multicast module subclasses IO::Socket::INET to enable you to manipulate multicast groups. With this module (and an operating system that supports multicasting), you will be able to receive incoming multicast transmissions and generate your own outgoing multicast packets.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install net/p5-IO-Socket-Multicast
pkg install p5-IO-Socket-MulticastFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/p5-IO-Socket-Multicast/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= p5-IO-Socket-Multicast>0:net/p5-IO-Socket-MulticastPackages
