Description

This package sends wake-on-lan packets to turn on machines that are wake-on-lan capable.

For now there is only one function in this package:

Net::Wake::by_udp(host, mac_address, [port]);

You can power on PCs by perl -e 'use Net::Wake; Net::Wake::by_udp("192.168.0.1", "xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx");'

You can also specify broadcast address for `host'. It is useful in a intelligent network.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install net/p5-Net-Wake
pkg install p5-Net-Wake

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/net/p5-Net-Wake/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Net-Wake>0:net/p5-Net-Wake

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
