Description
This module provides low-level protocol support for Apache Kafka as well as high-level consumer and producer classes. Request batching is supported by the protocol as well as broker-aware request routing. Gzip and Snappy compression is also supported for message sets.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install net/py-kafka-python
pkg install py312-kafka-pythonFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/py-kafka-python/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-kafka-python>0:net/py-kafka-pythonPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
