Description
wsdd implements a Web Service Discovery host daemon. This enables (Samba) hosts, like your local NAS device, to be found by Web Service Discovery Clients like Windows.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install py312-wsddFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/net/py-wsdd/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

Message after installing
The rc variable for the workgroup name in /etc/rc.conf has changed from wsdd_group to wsdd_workgroup. Do not forget to change the variable name.
