Description
This is the ARC File Archive Utility. ARC is used to create and maintain file archives. It can automatically compress the files being archived. It provides repeated-character compression, dynamic Lempel-Zev (LZW) compression, or no compression. ARC was originally written in 1985. This package also includes marc for merging ARC archives.
