Description

XTEL can emulate a Minitel 1B, 2, TVR and Iminitel on a X display. It is networked, that is, a server drives the MODEM connected to Teletel services, and clients talk with the server via TCP/IP. Local usage is also possible, client and server runs on the same machine.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install xtel

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/comms/xtel && make install clean

No port depends on this one.

*: add LDFLAGS overide that was previously in mk

This is a workaround and should be fixed properly per-package - they should use the pkgsrc LDFLAGS, but this restores what happened before the mk/ cleanup. Fixes relro build for packages that do not honor LDFLAGS. Package list provided by mef@, thanks! Workaround commit requested by bsiegert on tech-pkg.

mk: switch the default for PATCH_DIST_STRIP from -p0 to -p1

adapt packages that didn't set PATCH_DIST_STRIP to use -p0, and remove the -p1 lines
