Description

Tortoise ORM is an easy-to-use asyncio ORM (Object Relational Mapper) inspired by Django.

Tortoise ORM was build with relations in mind and admiration for the excellent and popular Django ORM. It's engraved in it's design that you are working not with just tables, you work with relational data.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install py312-tortoise-orm

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/databases/py-tortoise-orm && make install clean

1.1.9 Added Q.__bool__() so Q objects with no filters/children (including nested empty Q children) are falsy. PostgreSQL password credential now accepts a sync or async callable, resolved once per new connection, to support short-lived credentials such as AWS RDS/Aurora IAM tokens and Azure Entra ID tokens. Changed tortoise.contrib.starlette now only supports Starlette 1.0+ (This does not affect FastAPI users; you can continue using FastAPI with any version of Starlette). Fixed Aggregates now apply _filter when the aggregated argument is an F() or a combined expression (e.g. Sum(F("price") * F("qty"), _filter=Q(status="paid"))).
