Description

Pykka is a Python implementation of the actor model The actor model introduces some simple rules to control the sharing of state and cooperation between execution units, which makes it easier to build concurrent applications.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install py311-pykka

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/devel/py-pykka && make install clean

4.5.0 Breaking changes Drop support for Python 3.10, which has reached end-of-life. Changes Add support for Python 3.15. Migrate docs from Mkdocs to Zensical. Types are now checked with ty, in addition to mypy and basedpyright, which has replaced pyright.
