Description

Geeqie is a lightweight Gtk+ based image viewer for Unix like operating systems. Geeqie has been forked from gqview project, because it was not possible to contact gqview author and the only maintainer. Geeqie projects goal is to move the development forward and also integrate the existing patches.

Binary package:

Geeqie 3.3 ============ - Collections: Open Collection combines the default collection directory with collection history, showing filenames and full paths. Unavailable collections are retained but disabled. Missing images remain in collections, and collections stored elsewhere are updated when images move or are renamed. - Open Recent: Replaced with a GTK4 dialog using GTK’s shared recent-files database, with “Geeqie image files” and “All files” filters. Remove unsupported meson option. Geeqie 3.2 ============ - Collections integrated into the main window. .gqv files appear as virtual folders, with their contents displayed in the files pane. Collection management now includes editing, appending, saving, reordering, sorting, randomizing, and navigating to an image’s original folder. Standalone collection windows and collection previews were removed. Unsaved changes are protected by Save/Discard/Cancel prompts. - Collection information and paths improved.
