Description

The GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) includes front ends for C, C++, Objective-C, Fortran, and Go, as well as libraries for these languages (libstdc++, libgfortran, ...).

This packages provides GCC support libraries in a specific location and allows packages to depend on just the libraries rather than having to pull in the full GCC package.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install gcc12-libs

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/lang/gcc12-libs && make install clean

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

c6fa12de57 he lang/gcc12: pull over the changes to rs6000/netbsd.h from our in-tree gcc.
This is so that this builds and runs on powerpc/11.0*. The most important fix is that on powerpc, -msecure-plt is enabled by default, so that resulting executables can be run with PAX_MPROTECT active. Otherwise, we end up with executables with sections which have both "write" and "execute" turned on, which PAX_MPROTECT rejects. Fixes PR#60439. Bump PKGREVISION for both gcc12 and gcc12-libs, to adhere to rules in comments.
