Description

Network UPS Tools can monitor a large assortment of UPS hardware. Network communications are used so that multiple systems can monitor a single physical UPS and shut down together if necessary without any special "sharing hardware" on the UPS itself.

There are additional ups-nut-* packages for cgi, SNMP, and USB support.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install ups-nut

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/sysutils/ups-nut && make install clean

ups-nut: add new "doc" option (default: on); PR 60837.

With both "doc" and "python" turned off, the build no longer requires python at build or runtime. Add PRINT_PLIST_AWK to help regenerating the PLIST after future changes. No changes to the default build.
