Description

asccidir recursively remove non-ASCII characters from file name.

By default, western languages accents are turned into plain ASCII characters, and evertything else non ASCII is removed, but a transliteration map can be provided for more complex translations.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install asciidir

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/textproc/asciidir && make install clean
