Description

html2text is a Python script that convers a page of HTML into clean, easy-to-read plain ASCII text. Better yet, that ASCII also happens to be valid Markdown (a text-to-HTML format). This is the last version that works with Python 2.7.

Install

Binary package:

pkgin install py27-html2text

From pkgsrc:

cd /usr/pkgsrc/textproc/py-html2text-2019.8.11 && make install clean

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
