Description

pkg_fake is a low-level administration tool for pkgsrc.

  • create and manage fake packages into the pkgsrc database.
  • hide or unhide packages.
  • create and manage fake alternatives on already existing packages.

By this way you'll be able to deceive pkgsrc and skip some dependencies or just to solve problems on packages that can't be installed fine because portability problems in the target package, etc.

Install

From pkgsrc-wip (no binary package):

cd /usr/pkgsrc/wip/pkg_fake && make install clean
