Description
This packages allows the reading and writing of AR archive files.
It is inspired by the tarfile and zipfile that are part of Python's standard library (unfortunately the name arfile was taken on PyPI).
Install
From pkgsrc-wip (no binary package):
cd /usr/pkgsrc/wip/py-unix-ar && make install cleanDependency graph
Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right (to build, as it needs nothing to run); at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.
