Description

MariaDB is a multi-threaded SQL database with a command syntax very similar to mSQL.

This is the client portion of MariaDB, it provides the client binaries, mysqlclient library and headers for the MariaDB client API.

Install

Binary package:

pkg_add mariadb-client

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/databases/mariadb && make install

The default sets innodb_buffer_pool_size_max=512m because otherwise none of the modules that try to use it for tests work as they want to allocate enough memory to run an LLM.
