Description

libmagic is a library which attempts to classify files. There are three sets of tests, performed in the following order:

  • filesystem tests
  • magic number tests
  • language tests

Install

Binary package:

pkg_add libmagic

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/devel/libmagic && make install
